Delicious Beef Stroganoff

Ingredience

1kg Quality Mark lean blade (flat-iron) steak

1 onion cut into thin wedges

2 tsp crushed garlic crushed

200g button mushrooms thickly sliced

2 tbsp tomato paste

1/4 tsp beef stock

1 can 330ml GF beer

1 tbsp Dijon mustard

1 tbsp rice flour

1/2 cup sour cream to serve pasta

1/4 cup finely chopped parsley

Pokyny

To Make Stroganoff Oven Cooking Method

1 Cut the steak across the grain into 1.5cm wide strips and season with salt and pepper.

2 Brown the beef in batches in a dash of hot oil in a frying pan, transferring each batch to a slow cooker when browned.

3 Pan fry the onions and garlic in a little more oil until softened.

4 Scatter over the beef with the mushrooms.

5 Mix together the tomato paste, beef stock, mustard and flour and pour over the beef.

6 Cover with the lid.

7 Cook on meat setting in pressure cooker 25 minutes

8 Stir in the sour cream and serve over pasta or rice.

9 Garnish with parsley.
