Chocolate Pancakes

Ingredienser

1/2 cup ragi flour

1/2 cup whole wheat flour

2 tbsp cocoa powder

2 tbsp jaggery powder

1/2 tsp baking powder

1/4 tsp baking soda

1 cup milk + 1/2 tbsp vinegar

2 tbsp vegetable oil plus more for greasing

Vejledning

In a bowl, add milk and vinegar to make buttermilk. Rest for 5 minutes.

⁠In a separate bowl, add ragi flour, whole wheat flour, cocoa powder, jaggery, baking powder, and baking soda and give it a whisk to evenly mix everything.

⁠Add the milk mixture and oil into the same bowl and whisk to form a smooth batter.

Heat a non-stick pan on medium heat , add vegetable oil and once hot, add about ¼ cup of the batter. Let the pancakes cook slowly. When you see bubbles, flip the pancakes carefully and cook on the other side.

⁠Serve with chocolate sauce and strawberries.
