This one is truly the ULTIMATE PREP (or a continuation of it if you’ve seen the first chicken version and the beef version). Especially for all the working moms + dads. Students + for those emergency days. Get the prep done now (even though we’re a few days in it’s still early) and watch how these come in handy! And when you lay them flat to freeze they defrost so quick!
each bag has about 1-1.3 lbs of cubed meat
tip- best to add oil last then mix
BANG BANG CHICKEN:
1/3 cup mayo, 2 tbsp oil, 1/2 lime juices, 1 tsp onion powder, garlic powder, salt, 1/2 tsp paprika and red crushed pepper flakes. 1/4 cup sweet chili sauce. Mix well
PESTO CHICKEN:
1/4 cup mayo, 1/3 cup pesto, 2 tbsp oil, 1/4 tsp salt (pesto sauce has salt), 1/4 tsp black pepper, 1/4 tsp paprika, 1 tsp onion powder, 1 tsp garlic powder, 1/4 cup chopped roasted red peppers. Mix well.
FAJITA:
1/4 cup oil, juice of 1 lime, 1 tsp ground cumin, 1/2 tsp paprika, 1 tsp salt, 1 tsp onion powder, 1 tsp garlic powder, 1/2 tsp black pepper. Mix well.
GREEK:
1/3 cup plain Greek yogurt, 3 tbsp oil, 1 tsp minced garlic, juice of one lemon, 1 tsp dried dill, 1 tsp dried oregano, 1/2 tsp salt, 1/4 tsp black pepper. Mix well.
Vejledning
Place the meat into your bags or mixing bowls. Add the marinades. Mix well. Lay flat into freezer safe bags. Label. And freeze! Defrost the night before in the refrigerator or place on counter the morning of.
HOW TO SERVE:
bang bang chicken: skewer and airfry
pesto: pan sear and top over pasta
fajita: bake in a tray with peppers and onions
greek: pan sear for greek rice bowls
