Balsamic-Glazed Pork Tenderloin

Ingredienser

1 1/2 lbs pork tenderloin

1/4 t salt

1/8 t black pepper

1/4 c balsamic vinegar

1 T brown sugar, firmly packed

Vejledning

  1. Preheat oven to 375

  2. Rinse pork under cool running water. Trim excess fat. Season with salt and pepper.

  3. Heat large skillet over medium heat, place pork in skillet. Sear each side to brown entire surface. Remove from pan. Set aside on a warm plate

  4. Add vinegar to skillet, stirring to scrape any cooked bits of meat from the skillet. Reduce heat to medium, stir in brown sugar, mix well to make a glaze. Return tenderloin to skillet, spoon glaze over meat.

  5. If skillet is not oven-safe, place pork in a small roasting pan. Roast until internal temp is 140-145 (approx 20 min) Remove pork from oven, allow to rest for 5 min before slicing. Drizzle pan juices over top.

  6. Serve with vegetables or mashed potatoes.
