400g sausages, skins taken off and broken up
1 onion, finely diced
4tsp garlic puree- or 4 cloves
1tbs tomato puree
1tbs Cajun seasoning
3tbs pesto- i used tomato and ricotta pesto
300g uncooked orzo
1ltr chicken stock
60ml single cream - i used elmlea light
Handful of fresh parsley
Anweisungen
Fry off the sausages until they are starting to go crispy, then adding the onions and cook until soft. Once soft add in the garlic, tomato purée, Cajun seasoning and pesto. Cook this for a few minutes before adding the uncooked orzo and chicken stock. Adding the chicken stock bit by bit until the Orzo is cooked al dente, then add the cream and fresh parsley. Mix well. Serve and enjoy.
