Creamy Sausage and Tortellini Skillet

Zutaten

1 lb of Italian sausage

1 19 oz package of cheese tortellini (frozen)

3 TBSP of butter

1 TBSP of minced garlic

1 cup of heavy whipping cream

2 8 oz cans of tomato sauce

3 TBSP of tomato paste

1/2 cup of shredded Parmesan cheese

a couple of handfuls of fresh spinach

1 tsp of Italian seasoning

salt (pepper, and garlic powder)

Anweisungen

brown Italian sausage in a pan and remove it

add butter, spinach, minced garlic, heavy cream, tomato sauce, tomato paste, Parmesan cheese, and Italian seasoning, and season to taste with salt, pepper, and garlic powder

mix everything together well and let simmer

add cheese tortellini to the pan (still frozen), stir well, cover with a lid, and let cook for about 5 minutes until pasta is tender

add sausage to pasta and serve

I like topping it with more Parmesan cheese and some dried parsley!
