1 box of cannelloni shells (must be "ready to bake")

1 lb of ground pork

3-5 cloves of galic (your pick)

1 egg

Bread crumbs (homemade, panko, regular, it all works)

1/4 of a bunch of parsley

Salt

Pepper

Tomato sauce

Shredded mozzarella

Anweisungen

1. Create the meat filling: mix the ground pork, minced garlic, minced parsley, egg, 1/4cup of bread crumbs and salt and pepper to taste. You may need to add breadcrumbs if the filling is too wet.

2. Lay a thin layer of tomato sauce down in a baking dish (ideally that fits 2 cannellonis side by side).

3. Stuff each cannelloni with enough filling to fill the whole thing (but don't compact the filling in to it). Lay each filled cannelloni down into the baking dish. Repeat until you've run out of filling.

4. Add more sauce to the pan and spread it over the cannelloni, so the sauce goes up halfway through the cannelloni. Add half to a cup of water over the top of the pan and sprinkle mozzarrella over the top. Cover with tin foil and pop into a 375ºF oven (or whatever the instructions on the cannelloni box say).

5. Cook covered for 35 minutes, then uncover and cook for 10 more. Check the pasta is cooked to your desired consistency and if the cheese isn't browned even, flick on the broiler until it gets there.
