665g Strong White Flour
410ml Warm Water
7g Dried Yeast
2 Tbsp Honey
40g Lard, room temperature
5g Salt
Rice flour to dust
Anweisungen
1) Add the water and lard together, so that the lard melts slightly into the water. Combine the ingredients together into the bowl of your stand mixer. Use the dough hook and knead on a medium speed for 10 minutes.
2) Leave to rise in a warm place, covered for 1.5-2 hours until doubled in size. Punch down and equally roll 8 balls. Place into a deep baking dish lined with parchment paper. Cover again and allow the balls to rise for a further hour.
3) Preheat your oven to 230°C Fan. Scatter the rice flour over the tops of the risen buns and pop into the oven for 15-16 minutes until a deep golden brown. You want them to be a little crusty on top. Allow to cool for 15 minutes then serve.
