SLOW COOKER HONEY CHIPOTLE CHICKEN

• 60oz Chicken Breast (1700g) • 1 Can Chipotle Peppers (7oz) (200g) • 3 Tbsps Honey (60g) • 2 Tbsps Garlic Salt (30g) • 1 Tbsp Onion Powder (/g)
Anweisungen
DIRECTIONS
1. In a slow cooker, add 60oz of chicken breast, 2 Tbsps garlic salt, 1 Tbsp onion powder, 1 can of chipotle peppers (diced), and 3 Tosps honey for a little added sweetness.
2. Mix everything until the chicken is coated. Cover and cook on high for 3-4 hours. The meat should be very tender and you should be able to shred it with a fork.
3. When the chicken is done, remove 0.5 Cup of the liquid and set aside. Drain the remaining liquid.
4. Break apart the chicken with two forks until finely shredded.
5. Add back the drained liquid to the chicken. Mix together to make sure the chicken does not dry out when it gets reheated.
6. Evenly divide the meat into 10 meal prep containers (you can do this by weighing the finished product and dividing the weight by 10).
7. Store the containers in the freezer for up to 3 months or in the refrigerator for up to 3 days (go to page 5 for reheating instructions from frozen).
