500g of prunes
2 puff pastries
2 vanilla tea bags
1 egg
Anweisungen
1. The night before, soak the prunes in boiling water and add the tea bags.
2. Drain the prunes before you start on the pie.
3. Lay one of the puff pastries down into a tart pan. Add the prunes in a single layer.
4. Lay the second puff pastries down over the tart and crimp the edges together. Cut some small vent slits in the middle
5. Mix the egg yolk with a bit of water and egg wash the top of the tart.
6. Bake at 350ºF for 45 minutes to an hour. The top should be golden brown and the bottom should feel cooked through (try and lift the tart up off the pan to confirm).
7. Let cool and enjoy!
