Amish Hashbrowns

1/2 cup flour
2 tablespoons cornmeal
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
2 1/2 shredded potatoes
1/3 cup vegetable oil
1 egg
1 small onion
1/4 vegetable oil for frying
Instrucciones
In a large bowl, mix together flour, cornmeal, salt, and baking powder.
Add potatoes, oil, egg, onion and mix until evenly blended.
Heat 1/4 oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Drop heaping spoonfuls of mixture into hot oil and flatten slightly. Cook until browned on the bottom. Flip and cook on the other side. Keep warm in oven until all hash browns are finished.
