Grandma’s Cheesy Potatoes

32 oz frozen hash browns
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/2 c onion
2 cans cream of chicken soup
1/4 c butter
16 oz sour cream
2 c grated cheddar cheese
2 c crushed corn flakes
1/4 c melted butter
Instrucciones
Thaw potatoes for 2 hours.
Combine first 8 ingredients and place in greased casserole.
Crush corn flakes and mix with melted butter and sprinkle on top.
Bake at 350 for 45 minutes covered. Uncover and bake for an additional 45 minutes.
Notas
11/23/2023: Used frozen diced potatoes instead of hash browns. Potatoes were slightly mushy so don’t thaw completely in the future.
