Apple Walnut Salad with Maple Dijon Vinaigrette

Ingredientes

Salad:

Mixed greens (4 cups)

Thinly sliced apples (2)

Toasted chopped walnuts (1/2 cup)

Dried cranberries (1/4 cup)

Crumbled feta or goat cheese (1/4 cup, optional)

Thin red onion slices (1/4)

Maple Dijon Vinaigrette:

Olive oil (1/4 cup)

Dijon mustard (1 tbsp)

Maple syrup (2 tbsp)

Apple cider vinegar (1 tbsp)

Salt and pepper to taste

Instrucciones

Whisk dressing:

Mix olive oil, mustard, maple syrup, and vinegar. Season to taste.

Toast walnuts:

Warm walnuts in a dry pan for 3–5 minutes. Let cool.

Prep apples:

Thinly slice apples. Toss with lemon juice if desired.

Assemble salad:

In a bowl, combine greens, apples, walnuts, cranberries, onion, and cheese.

Add dressing:

Drizzle vinaigrette over salad. Gently toss to coat.

Serve fresh:

Plate immediately and enjoy while crisp.
