Chocolate Praline Layer Cake

1 package Devils Food cake mix
1 1/2 cups water
1/3 cup vegetable oil
3 eggs
1/2 cup butter, melted
1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1 1/2 cups coarsely chopped pecans
1 cup whipping cream
Instructions
In mixer bowl, mix cake ingredients: water, oil, and eggs. Spread batter over 2 pans lined with melted butter, brown sugar, and pecans. Bake at 325°F for 35-45 minutes. Cool pans and remove cakes carefully. Whip cream, then spread over top before serving.
