Biscuits and Gravy

1 package low fat Jimmy Dean sausage
3 cups milk
3 tablespoons cornstarch
1 package of refrigerator whole wheat biscuits
Instructions
Bake biscuits according to package directions. Meanwhile, cook sausage in a large saucepan, breaking up into small crumbles, then set aside.
In a separate saucepan, mix cornstarch into cold milk, then whisk. Bring to a boil, stirring until thickened. Add sausage to the sauce and season with salt and pepper. Serve hot over biscuits.
Notes
Serve warm with fresh fruit or eggs for a complete breakfast.
