Whole Wheat Chocolate Chip Cookies

1 cup butter (margarine)
1 cup brown sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 cup oil
2 eggs
2 cups whole wheat flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
Nuts (desired amount)
12 oz chocolate chips
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°F. Cream butter, brown sugar, vanilla, and oil together in a bowl. Add eggs and mix well. Combine the flour, salt, and baking soda in a separate bowl. Add to the wet mixture. Fold in nuts and chocolate chips. Drop by spoonfuls onto a baking sheet. Bake for 9 minutes.
