Spiced Nuts

1 can evaporated milk
1 1/2 tbsp cinnamon (or to taste)
3 cups white sugar
6 cups walnuts
Instructions
Boil milk, sugar, and cinnamon in a heavy pan until soft ball stage, stirring frequently. (Test a few drops of the mixture by dropping it into a cup of cold water, making sure that the mixture forms a round ball that keeps its shape well.) Once soft ball stage is reached, take off the burner, and stir in the walnuts. Spoon onto a cookie sheet, separating nuts. Cool and serve or store away.
Notes
Use cinnamon to taste.
