Tangy Steak Sandwiches

6 sourdough deli buns split in half so you have a top and bottom
1 1/4 lbs thinly sliced cooked roast beef from the deli
1 (8 oz.) package of cream cheese
1 (10 oz.) bottle of "Lea and Perrins" steak sauce
Margarine
1 medium onion, chopped
1 medium green bell pepper, chopped
1 large tomato, sliced
4 oz. mozzarella cheese, sliced
Instructions
Spread a thick layer of cream cheese on the top half of the deli buns. Spread margarine on the bottom half of each deli bun. Layer the beef on the bottom half of each sandwich, dividing the meat between all six buns. Pour 3 Tbsp of steak sauce on top of the meat. Layer slices of mozzarella on top of the sauce.
With sandwiches still open, on a microwave safe plate heat 1-3 sandwiches at a time in the microwave for 2-3 minutes on 20% power, till just warm (you don't want to melt the cheese).
Then add 3-4 more Tbsp of steak sauce. Layer the chopped onions, peppers, and sliced tomatoes next. Then place tops of buns on top. Slice in half lengthwise for easier eating. Putting the cream cheese on the top bun helps hold the onions and peppers in the sandwich.
