Cornbread

Ingrédients

1 cup white flour

½ teaspoon salt

4 teaspoons baking powder

1 cup yellow cornmeal

¼ cup sugar

1 cup milk

¼ cup oil

1 egg

Instructions

Preheat oven to 425°F. Mix dry ingredients in a bowl. In another bowl, beat milk, oil, and egg together, then add to dry ingredients. Stir until just combined. Pour into a greased 9" x 9" pan and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown on edges.

Notes

Yellow cornmeal gives the best flavor for this cornbread.
