Ingrédients

Onions, sliced thinly - 2

Apple, peeled, cored, and sliced thinly - 1

Dijon mustard - 2 Tbsp

Tomato sauce - 2 Tbsp

Brown sugar - 2 Tbsp

GF Worcestershire sauce - 2 Tbsp

Beef stock - 2 cups

Salt, to taste

Pepper, to taste

Chopped parsley to garnish (optional) - 1/2 cup

Pork and beef chorizo sausages - 1 packet

Oil - 2 Tbsp

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 180°C (160°C fan forced).

Place the sausages in an oven-proof dish and into the oven for 10 minutes. Remove.

Heat the oil in a large frying pan to medium heat. Add the onions and apple, cooking slowly for 10 minutes to soften.

In a small bowl combine the mustard, tomato sauce, sugar and Worcestershire.

Add the sauce mix to the onions along with the beef stock, bringing slowly to a simmer for 10 minutes. Add the cooked sausages and continue to cook for a further 5 minutes turning gently to combine. Season with salt and pepper and garnish with parsley.
