Teriyaki Ground Beef

Ingrédients

1 lb lean ground beef

1 shallot, sliced

1 tsp garlic, minced

1 cup broccoli, chopped

1/2 cup shredded/matchstick carrots

1/4 cup teriyaki sauce (I used Kinder’s brand)

1 tbsp olive oil, for the pan

Seasoning: garlic salt + pepper

For toppings: 1 tsp sesame seeds, drizzle of teriyaki sauce and chopped green onions

Serve with: white rice

Instructions

Heat a pan on medium heat and add olive oil.

Once heated, add your chopped shallots and garlic. Let simmer for 3 minutes.

Add your ground beef and use a meat masher or spatula to break apart. Cook until browned.

Once the meat is browned, add in your carrots and broccoli. Let cook for ~8 more mins until vegetables are softened.

Top with teriyaki sauce, garlic salt, and pepper. Mix ground.

Serve on a plate/bowl over white rice. Top with sesame seeds, drizzle of teriyaki sauce, and chopped green onions. Enjoy!
