Vafler (Norwegian Waffles)

2 eggs
1/4 c sugar
1/4 t salt
1/2 c + 2 T butter
1/2 t vanilla
2 t baking powder
2 c milk
2 c flour
1/2 t cardamom
Instructions
Blend dry ingredients. Mix wet ingredients thoroughly. Combine dry and wet mixes together.
Let batter stand 10 min before baking.
Make waffles in hot waffle iron (preferably, a heart-shaped iron :)
Serve with syrup or fresh whipped cream and berries.
