Sausage Mushroom Thanksgiving Stuffing

1 loaf Italian bread, cubed
1 lb pork sausage
1/2 cup butter
1 cup chopped onion
1 cup chopped celery
8 oz mushrooms, chopped
1 tsp poultry seasoning
1 tsp ground sage
1/2 tsp dried thyme
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
2 1/2 cups chicken broth
3 large eggs, beaten
Instructions
Toast bread cubes. Sauté sausage in butter, add onions, celery, and mushrooms, cooking until soft. Season with poultry seasoning, sage, thyme, salt, and pepper. In a bowl, combine bread, sausage mixture, chicken broth, and eggs. Transfer to a baking dish and bake at 350°F for 45 minutes.
