Grandma’s Cheesecake Recipe

Ingrédients

1 package moist yellow cake mix

1/3 cup soft butter

3 eggs (room temperature)

1 cup sugar

2 8-ounce blocks of cream cheese (softened)

2 cups sour cream (full fat)

2 tsp vanilla

1 tablespoon vanilla

Berries or pie filling for toppings, if desired

Instructions

Beat cake mix, butter and 1 egg until crumbly. Press into 9x13 ungreased pan.

Beat 2 eggs and 3/4 cup sugar, 2 teaspoons vanilla, and cream cheese until light, smooth, and fluffy. Spread over crust.

Bake at 350 F for 20 minutes until set. Let cool completely before spreading 3rd layer.

Beat sour cream, 1/4 cup of sugar, and 1 tablespoon of vanilla until smooth. Spread over top and refrigerate for 3-4 hours.

If desired, garnish and serve with fresh fruit and/or pie filling. Store remaining cheesecake in refrigerator.
