Spaghetti Pie

Crust:
6 oz spaghetti
2 T. margarine
1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 well beaten eggs
1/2 cup cottage cheese
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Sauce:
1 lb. hamburger or sausage
1 can tomatoes (8 oz.)
1 can tomato paste (6 oz.)
1 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. dried oregano
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
1/4 cup chopped onion
Instructions
Cook spaghetti. Drain. Stir in margarine, Parmesan cheese, and eggs. Form into crust in pie plate. Cook in microwave on high uncovered for 2 minutes. Spread cottage cheese over crust. Cook meat, onions, and remaining sauce ingredients. (You may use bottled spaghetti sauce in place of sauce). Cover crust with sauce. Cook covered on high in microwave for 6-7 minutes. Top with mozzarella cheese. Cook one more minute. Let stand 8-10 minutes.
Notes
You can also bake in conventional oven: put cottage cheese and meat mixture in formed crust. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Sprinkle with the mozzarella cheese and bake 5 minutes more. Makes 6-8 servings.
