Stuffed Cabbage

Ingrédients

1 lb-2 lb ground beef

1 lb ground pork

1c raw rice

1 onion

1 tsp Salt

1/2 tsp pepper

1 Tbs parsley

1 egg

2 Cabbages for

3 lb of meat

* can use barley in place of rice but it expands more than rice

5 cans Crushed tomatoes

Instructions

Boil cabbages until leaves are limp about 10 minutes .You can prep the calbages a day before stuffing. Cook Rice/barley separate. Mix all ingredients except cabbage. Put 1/3 c approximately in Cabbage leaf and roll up, tucking in sides, fill roaster/baking dishes cover in crushed tomatoes if more moisture is needed use tomato juice. Bake 2-2 1/ 2hr @ 350°

Notes

Boil whole cabbage not quartered

For every 1 lb of meat add this amount:

1c raw rice

1 onion

1 tsp Salt

1/2 tsp pepper

1 Tbs parsley

1 egg
