Baked Barbecued Spareribs

Ingrédients

4 Ibs. spareribs, baby or back

ribs

4 T. fat from dripping

2 onions, chopped

1 cup celery, chopped

4 T. each vinegar, brown sugar

8 T. lemon juice

2 cups ketchup, 1 cup water

6 T. Worcestershire sauce

1 tsp. prepared mustard

Dash of salt, chili powder, pep- per, paprika, cayenne (to

taste)

Instructions

Broil ribs until brown. Use dripping for browning onions, Add remaining ingredients, Simmer 30 minutes. (This makes about 4 cups.) Line bot- tom of roasting pan with ribs and cover each piece with some sauce. Add another layer of ribs, cover with sauce, etc, until ribs are all used, Cover, bake at 250 degrees for 4 1/2 hours - until meat falls off bone. These are great and taste good warmed over.
