Santa Fe Chicken and White Bean Soup

2 T. vegetable or olive oil
1 medium onion, chopped
4 oz. chopped green chilies
3 T. lime juice
1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper
2 1/2 cups chicken broth
2 15 oz. cans great northern beans (do not drain)
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. coriander
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. ground cumin
1 tsp ground oregano
1-2 T. chopped cilantro
2 T. cornstarch
1 1/2 cups chicken, cooked and chopped
Instructions
Put oil in a stock pot and sauté onions until tender. Stir in remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to low, and simmer for 15-20 minutes. Top with grated jack cheese and serve with tortilla chips.
