Creamy Basil and Ricotta Spaghetti

Ingrédients

  • 400g Spaghetti

  • 1 Bunch of Basil

  • 250g Ricotta

  • Olive Oil

  • Salt

  • Black Pepper

Instructions

  1. Put your pasta onto cook in heavily salted boiling water.

  2. Remove the basil leaves from the stalks and place them in a blender with a small drizzle of olive oil. Blitz for a few seconds until you have a herby paste.

  3. Once the pasta is finished cooking, save a mug of pasta water and drain the rest. Add the ricotta and basil oil into the pan with the pasta and a splash of pasta water.

  4. Give it a good mix and add more pasta water as needed.

  5. Serve up and finish with a generous amount of black pepper.
