Sticky Buns

Ingrédients

½ cup warm water

2 packages yeast

1½ cup lukewarm milk

½ cup sugar

½ cup shortening

7 cups flour

2 teaspoons salt

2 eggs

½ cup brown sugar

⅓ cup molasses

⅓ cup butter per pan

1 cup pecans, chopped

Instructions

Dissolve yeast in warm water. Put warm milk, sugar, salt, and shortening in a large bowl. Add eggs and beat well. Add yeast. Add flour till dough is stiff enough to knead. Knead 8-10 minutes. Cover and let rise to double in size. Roll out to a 12"x14" rectangle. Spread butter on dough, sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon. Roll up tightly, slice into 12 pieces, and place in a greased pan with sticky syrup. Let rise, bake at 350°F for 30 minutes. Invert to cool.
