Cookie Salad

One 3.4-ounce package instant vanilla pudding
1 cup buttermilk
One 12-ounce container frozen whipped topping, thawed
One 20-ounce can pineapple tidbits, drained
One 15-ounce can mandarin oranges, drained
Package fudge striped cookies
Instructions
Beat together pudding and buttermilk.
Mix in whipped topping.
Drain pineapple and add to mixture.
Drain oranges and fold in most, reserving some for garnish.
Chill for at least 1 hour.
Crush, then stir in two-thirds of the cookies just before serving.
Garnish with the reserved mandarin orange segments and remaining whole cookies.
Notes
Use real pineapple and mandarins.
