Ingrédients

1 tbsp olive oil

1 yellow onion diced

4 garlic cloves minced

1-1 1/2 lbs ground beef

1 tbsp Italian seasoning

1 tsp salt and pepper

1/2 tsp red chili flakes

3 tbsp tomato paste

1 15oz can crushed tomatoes

3 cups your fav marinara sauce

4 cups beef broth

10oz lasagna sheets broken up

1/2 cup heavy cream

mozzarella

Parmesan

basil (for topping)

Ricotta Topping

Instructions

Dice up your yellow onion and mince your garlic. In a large pot heat up 1 tbsp of olive oil on medium high heat. Add your onion and cook for 3-5 minutes until translucent. Add your garlic and cook for a minute until fragrant.

Add your ground beef and break it up. Cook for about 5 minutes until completely browned and cooked through.

Add your seasonings, tomato paste, crushed tomatoes, and marinara sauce. Mix well then pour in your beef broth. Break your lasagna into pieces and add into your soup. Mix well, bring to a boil. Cover and simmer for 15-20 minutes until the lasagna is cooked through and soft.

While the soup is cooking, make your ricotta topping by mixing together ricotta, mozzarella, Parmesan, salt and pepper. Measure with your heart 🫶🏼

Once the soup is done cooking mix in your heavy cream. At this point you can mix in mozzarella if desired (I just added to my separate bowl since my husband doesn’t like cheese lol but highly recommend). Top with ricotta topping, freshly grated Parmesan, fresh basil and enjoy!!!
