Ingrédients

1 cup milk

2 envelopes of yeast

½ cup sugar

2 teaspoons salt

1 egg

1 egg yolk

¼ cup melted butter or margarine

¼ teaspoon lemon extract

Flour

Instructions

Beat eggs. Mix all ingredients adding enough flour to achieve kneading consistency. Roll dough out into a ½-inch thick rectangle. Spread softened butter over dough. Roll up tightly like a jelly roll, beginning with large side. Roll tight. Moisten the end. Slice dough into 1½-inch pieces. Place rolls in pans. Cover; let rise until nearly double. Bake in a 375 degree oven until lightly browned.
