Chicken and mushroom stir-fry

1 tablespoon olive oil
1 boneless, skinless chicken breast, thinly sliced
½ cup quartered mushrooms
½ cup sliced onion
1 tablespoon sliced garlic
Salt
Freshly ground black pepper
For stir-fry sauce:
2 teaspoons cornstarch
½ cup water
3 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon honey
2 teaspoons sambal oelek
1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger

In a small bowl, mix the cornstarch and water. Add the cornstarch mixture to a medium pot along with the soy sauce, honey, sambal oelek, and ginger. Bring the pot to a boil, reduce the heat to low, and simmer it for 5 minutes.
Warm a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the oil and chicken and cook for 4 to 5 minutes, until the chicken is browned.
Add the mushrooms, onion, and garlic and cook for 4 to 5 minutes, stirring the ingredients every minute or so, until the onion and garlic just start to brown.
Add the sauce to the pan and cook for another 1 to 2 minutes, until the sauce is thick. Remove from the heat, taste the sauce, and season with salt and pepper.

Соус в процесі приготування загус, і вмішувати його в курку з грибами було тяжко. Почитав в інтернеті, люди змішують його нахолодно, а вже гарячий заливають в м'ясо. Завтра спробую ще раз.
P.S. Це я рецепт сракою прочитав, в рецепті дві чайні, а не дві столові ложки крохмалю!!!
