Creamy Parmesan Pasta With Garlic Steak

Ingredients:

8 ounces fettuccine or spaghetti

1 pound sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces

3 tablespoons olive oil

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

½ teaspoon Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Directions:

Cook the fettuccine or spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving a bit of pasta water.

In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium-high heat. Season the steak bites with salt and pepper. Add the steak to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes until browned and cooked to your desired doneness. Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.

In the same skillet, add the remaining olive oil and minced garlic. Sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to burn the garlic.

Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Reduce the heat to low and stir in the Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning. Mix until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth. If the sauce is too thick, add a little reserved pasta water to reach desired consistency.

Add the cooked pasta to the skillet, tossing to coat the noodles in the creamy sauce. Gently fold in the cooked steak bites.

Serve warm, garnished with fresh parsley for a pop of color.
