INGREDIENTS
• 60oz Lean Steak (Skirt) (1700g) • 1 Tbsp Garlic Salt (15g) • 0.5 Tbsp Baking Soda (4g) • 1 Tbsp Rice Wine Vinegar (15g) • 2 Tbsps Corn Starch (16g) • 0.5 Tbsp Sesame Oil (7g) • 30oz Broccoli (850g) • Sesame Seeds (Optional) (20g)
Sauce: • 6 Tbsps Soy Sauce (Low Sodium) (90g) • 0.5 Cup Water (120g) • 0.25 Cup Brown Sugar (50g) • 1 Tbsp Sesame Oil (15g) • 1 Tbsp Corn Starch (8g) • 0.5 Tbsp Minced Ginger (7g) • 0.5 Tbsp Minced Garlic (7g)
Petunjuk
1. Slice 60oz of lean steak into thin strips.
2. In a bowl, add the steak strips and season with garlic salt, baking soda, rice wine vinegar, corn starch, and sesame oil. Mix well and let it rest for 30 minutes.
3. Boil 30oz of broccoli for about 5-7 minutes until it's tender.
4. Make the sauce by combining soy sauce, water, brown sugar, sesame oil, corn starch, garlic, and ginger.
5. Add the beef to a hot pan and cook on high heat until golden brown.
6. After cooking, remove the beef from the pan. Set aside.
7. To the same pan used to cook the beef, and add the sauce made in Step 4. Gently simmer it for about 5 minutes until it thickens. Add the cooked beef back to the pan.
8. Stir until the beef is coated in the sauce. Then, add in the cooked broccoli.
9. Evenly divide the meat into 10 meal prep containers (you can do this by weighing the finished product and dividing the weight by 10). 10. (Optional) Top the meat with some sesame seeds. 11. Store the containers in the freezer for up to 3 months or in the refrigerator for up to 3 days (go to page 5 for reheating instructions from frozen).
