Ingredienser

3 cups shredded green cabbage (or 1 bag of coleslaw mix)

3 cups romaine (or 1 bag of romaine)

3 cups shredded red cabbage

7-10 green onions

1 cup sunflower seeds

2 packages beef ramen noodles (noodles crushed, seasoning packets reserved)

1 cup toasted slivered almonds

4 tablespoons butter

1/2 cup vegetable oil

1/2 cup sugar

1/3 cup vinegar

Fremgangsmåte

Place the cabbages, romaine, green onions and sunflower seeds in a large bowl.

Brown in a saucepan, butter, slivered almonds, and crushed ramen noodles, stirring constantly. Let cool completely.

In a mason jar, shake together the vegetable oil, sugar, vinegar, and ramen noodle seasoning packets. Let stand 2-3 hours but remember to shake vigorously before adding to salad mixture.

Add almond/noodle mixture to cabbage mixture.

Pour the dressing over the cabbage mixture and toss to coat evenly. Serve immediately.
