Pepper Jack Chicken Mac and Cheese

Ingredienser

1 cup shredded chicken

2 cups pepper jack cheese

1/2 red bell pepper; diced

1 lb bowtie pasta

1 tablespoon butter

1 small container heavy whipping cream

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black cracked pepper

Fremgangsmåte

Melt 1 tablespoon butter. Add in heavy whipping cream and whisk together. Bring to a low boil and reduce to warm to simmer.

Boil pasta as directed on package and drain.

Allow sauce to thicken. Add 2 cups of pepper jack cheese in layers stirring frequently.

Add salt and pepper and stir.

Add in pasta and 1 cup shredded chicken stir well. Serve!
