Indian lentils

3 teaspoons butter
1 teaspoon extra virgin olive oil
1 cup red lentils
1 yellow onion, peeled and chopped
2 teaspoons cumin
¼ teaspoon coriander
¼ teaspoon garlic powder
¼ teaspoon turmeric
¼ teaspoon paprika
¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes
Salt and ground black pepper, to taste
3 cups chicken stock
Instructies
Set the Instant Pot on Sauté mode, add the butter and oil and heat up.
Add the onions, stir, and cook for 4 minutes.
Add the cumin, coriander, garlic powder, turmeric, paprika, and pepper flakes, stir, and cook for 2 minutes.
Add the lentils and stock, stir, cover, and cook on the Bean/Chili setting for 15 minutes.
Release the pressure, uncover the Instant Pot, divide into bowls, and serve.
