Chicken Shawarma

Ingrediënten

1 Kg Chicken Breasts/Thighs (Sliced in half and pounded)⁣

2 Cloves Garlic (Crushed)⁣

2 ½ Tablespoon Shawerma Spices (Recipe 👇🏼)⁣

2 Tablespoon Yogurt⁣

4 Tablespoon Oil⁣

1 Teaspoon Vinegar⁣

1 Teaspoon Lemon Juice⁣

Salt⁣

Toum (Garlic Sauce)⁣

Pickles⁣

Shrak or Pita Bread⁣

Shawerma Spices (Teaspoon)⁣ (Powder)

1 Paprika

1 Smoked Paprika

1 Chicken (Maggi Cubes)

½ Onion

½ Garlic

½ Coriander

½ Chili

¼ Nutmeg

¼ Cumin

¼ Cardamom

¼ Black Pepper ⁣

¼ Ginger

¼ Cinnamon

¼ Clove

¼ Turmeric

Instructies

  1. Slice your chicken breasts length wise and pound it to increase it's surface⁣

  2. Add crushed garlic, lemon, vinegar, yogurt, olive oil, shawerma spices, salt and marinate in the fridge from 3 hrs to 36 hrs⁣

  3. Grill your shawerma in a hot pan on both sides⁣

  4. Stack the chicken pieces on top of each other and thinly slice⁣

  5. Assemble your sandwich using shrak or pita bread, garlic sauce "toum", pickles, wrap and grill till cripsy on both sides⁣

  6. Smoke the shawerma using an activated coal and oil for two minutes in a covered pan⁣

  7. Enjoy with more toum⁣
