Creamed Leeks
Serves: 6-8

3 leeks washed, split and sliced thin
2 cloves garlic, finely chop
1/2 cup butter
1 teaspoons kosher salt
1 cup sweet white wine
1 ½ cups heavy cream
1 tablespoons Dijon mustard
1/4 teaspoons nutmeg
1/8 teaspoon white pepper
Instructies
Sauté leeks and garlic in butter on medium low heat.
Add salt and sweat low and slow.
At the first sign of colour, deglaze with white wine and reduce to 1/4.
Add cream, Dijon, nutmeg and pepper. Reduce until thick and creamy.
