Cucumber and Tomato Tea Sandwiches: a Refreshing Delight

Ingrediënten

8 slices of soft white or whole grain bread

1 medium cucumber (thinly sliced)

1 medium tomato (thinly sliced)

4 oz cream cheese (softened)

1 tbsp fresh dill (chopped, or 1 tsp dried dill)

Mayonnaise

Salt and pepper (to taste)

Optional: Lettuce leaves or arugula for added crunch

Instructies

Make the Spread: Mix softened cream cheese with dill, salt, and pepper.

Assemble: Spread cream cheese on each slice of bread. Layer cucumber and tomato on four slices, adding lettuce if desired. Top with remaining bread slices.

Cut and Serve: Trim crusts and cut into quarters or triangles. Serve immediately or cover until ready.
