Pork Roast 1

Ingrediënten

7 qt crockpot

5lb pork sholder Boston Butt

signature select gemstone potatoes (weight?)

Hannafords Dijon mustard

2 cups of chicken broth

1lb of halved baby carrots

3-4 large sliced yellow sweet onions

5-6 cloves of coarsely minced garlic

3-4 fresh Rosemary springs

A bay leaf

Paprika, Sage, Thyme, Oregano, Parsley, Garlic powder, Onion powder, Black pepper, Salt

Instructies

Prep Rub

  • Paprika

  • Garlic powder

  • Alittle onion powder

  • Alittle parsley

  • Oregano

  • A lot of sage

  • A lot of thyme

  • A lot of dried Rosemary

  • A lot of black pepper

  • Salt

  1. Rub pork sholder with Dijon mustard and then prepared rub

  2. Line bottom of the crockpot with halved carrots, sliced onions and minced garlic

  3. Place finished sholder on top skin side down

  4. Dice potatoes and toss with salt, garlic powder, rosemary and evoo

  5. Fill in gaps in the crockpot with potatoes

  6. Add chicken broth

  7. Add bay leaf, Rosemary sprigs, thyme, oregano, parsley, sage, salt, black pepper

  8. High heat till reduced

Notities

Came extremely fatty. Maybe trim sholder more or use less fatty cut
