Sausage Autumn Soup

3 bratwurst or smoked sausage
1 cup ham diced
1 medium onion, diced
1 medium green bell pepper, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
2 cups chicken broth
2 cups beef broth
1 15-oz can diced tomatoes
2 potatoes, diced
½ cup uncooked wild rice
¼ head of green cabbage, roughly chopped
1 teaspoon dried parsley
1 teaspoon dried basil
1 teaspoon dried thyme
1 teaspoon dried rosemary
1 teaspoon season salt
¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper
Salt and pepper to taste
1 cup of milk
Instructies
In a large stock pot cook the sausage until light brown. Add in the ham, onion, bell pepper and garlic. Cook 3 minutes. Add in the flour. Mix well and continue to cook five more minutes.
Add in the broths, diced tomatoes, potatoes, wild rice, and seasoning. Bring to a boil then reduce heat to a simmer. Simmer until the potatoes are fork tender and the wild rice is cooked. Slowly add in the milk return to simmer and serve
