Black Pepper Beef Fried Rice

Ingredientes

Ingredients: serves 4

800g beef rump (marinate in shaoxing wine, Oyster sauce and soy sauce if u are slicing before cooking)

2 cups jasmine rice (overnight rice is best!)

1 tbsp Kewpie Mayo

2 tbsp vegetable oil

½ onion, finely chopped

1 cup beansprouts

2 clove garlic, finely minced

1 tbsp ginger, grated

2 tbsp Lee Kum Kee Black Pepper sauce

4 tbsp soy sauce

2 tbsp Oyster sauce

2 eggs

salt and ground black pepper to season

1 cup fresh Basil leaves to finish

½ lemon/lime juiced to finish

1) Sear beef on high heat. Then take it out of the pan, let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

2) Add your Kewpie Mayo to the overnight rice and mix through until evenly coated.

2) Fry your onions in 2 tbsp of vegetable oil until slightly translucent, then toss in your bean sprouts, garlic and ginger.

3) Add your rice, black pepper sauce, soy sauce, Oyster sauce and toss until colour is distributed.

4) Crack in 2 eggs and mix through.

5) Season with salt and pepper to your liking.

6) Take the wok off the heat, toss in your fresh Basil and lemon/lime juice. One last toss through
