Mulakku Varutha Pulli

1 Tamarind lime size
15 Shallot sliced
5 Green Chilly split halves
1 stem Curry Leaves
1 tsp Mustard Seeds
½ tsp Fenugreek Seeds
5 Dry Red Chilly broken into pieces
½ tsp Turmeric Powder
2 tsp Jaggery Powder
1 ½ tsp Salt
1 tbsp Cooking Oil
Instruções
Soak tamarind in water for 10 minutes and extract full tamarind juice using a strainer and set aside.
In a pot, heat oil and allow mustard and fenugreek to splatter.
Then add dry red chilly and sauté for few seconds.
Add shallots, curry leaves, green chilly and sauté until shallots are soft.
Then add turmeric powder and sauté for few seconds.
Add tamarind water, salt and mix it well.
Once curry start to heat up, add jaggery powder and allow curry to boil for 10 minutes.
Mulakku varutha pulli ready to serve.
