2 tablespoons Butter
2 tablespoons All-Purpose Flour
3/4 cup Milk Preferably Whole Milk
3/4 cup Chicken Stock
2 1/2 cups Medium or Sharp Cheddar Cheese, Grated
1/4 cup Pickled Jalapeños, Chopped Fine
Salt To Taste
Ground Black Pepper To Taste
Directions
In medium sauce pan melt butter over medium-low heat.
Add flour and stir until flour starts to cook and thicken about 2 minutes.
Slowly stir milk and chicken stock into the flour mixture.
Stir over medium heat until milk mixture becomes thickened being careful not to boil.
Remove from heat and stir in grated cheese and pickled jalapeno.
Add salt and pepper to taste.
