1/4 teaspoon salt
2 Tablespoons milk
1 Tablespoon green onion chopped
1 8-ounce can crescent rolls
3/4 cup seasoned croutons, crushed
Directions
Heat oven to 350 degrees
In medium bowl blend cream cheese and 2 Tablespoons butter (reserve one Table- spoon for the topping). Add the next 4 ingredients; mix well, separate crescent rolls into 4 rectangles firmly press- ing perforations to seal.
Spoon 1/2 cup meat mixture onto center of each, pull 4 corners to center, twist slightly and seal edges. Brush with butter and dip in croutons. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes on ungreased cookie sheet. Makes 4 squares. I have made a gravy with white sauce and chicken broth and served on the side. Good with Mandarin Salad and an or-
ange slice garnish.
Gravy: 2 Tablespoons of butter 2 Tablespoons of flour
Salt to taste 1 cup of chicken broth add a bit of chicken base.
