For the French Toast:

1 loaf of French bread, sliced

1 cup milk

1 cup canned pumpkin puree

4 large eggs

1/4 cup granulated sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice

Butter or oil for cooking

For the Whipped Pumpkin Spice Honey Butter:

1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened

1/4 cup canned pumpkin puree

1/4 cup honey

1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice

Directions

Instructions:

Make the Whipped Pumpkin Spice Honey Butter:

In a medium bowl, beat together the softened butter, pumpkin puree, honey, and pumpkin pie spice until well combined and fluffy. Set aside.

Prepare the French Toast:

In a large bowl, whisk together milk, pumpkin puree, eggs, sugar, vanilla extract, and pumpkin pie spice.

Heat a skillet or griddle over medium heat and lightly grease with butter or oil.

Dip each slice of French bread into the pumpkin mixture, ensuring it is well coated on both sides.

Cook the coated bread slices on the skillet for 2-3 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through.

Serve:

Serve the pumpkin French toast warm, topped with a dollop of whipped pumpkin spice honey butter. Optionally, drizzle with maple syrup or sprinkle with powdered sugar.
