Nana’s banana bread

Ingredients

1 C sugar

1/3 C butter

2 eggs

1 1/2 C very ripe bananas smashed

1/3 C water

1 2/3 C all purpose flour

1 tsp baking soda

1/2 tsp salt

1/4 tsp baking powder

1 C chopped walnuts

Directions

Preheat oven to 350. Grease bottom of loaf pan. Cream together sugar and butter. Stir in eggs until blended. Add bananas and water. Beat for 30 seconds. Mix dry ingredients together in separate bowl. Stir dry ingredients into wet ingredients, all except nuts. Pour into loaf pan bake for one hour until toothpick inserted comes out clean. Let cool in pan for five minutes. Removed from pan, slice when cool.
